At TechNexus Venture Collaborative, we believe that when it comes to the widespread adoption of electrification, it’s not if, it’s when.
As much of the world aims to produce less carbon emissions, legacy companies and upstarts alike have launched electrification solutions across a range of industries — spanning everything from construction equipment and heavy industry; to recreational powersports including boats and RVs; and more.
By operating at the intersection of startups and corporate innovation, TechNexus helps established corporations grow and prepare for the future by connecting them to an ecosystem of ventures ready to move their industry forward. That unique vantage point has allowed TechNexus to invest for nearly a decade across the electrification value chain in partnership with leading OEMs. Our partner model positions us to develop deep insights and forge collaborations with innovative hardware and software companies that are already transforming the way the world moves and operates.
As we transition to a more sustainable future, innovative companies across sectors are working on promising electrification solutions. To recognize some of these firms, we're publishing the inaugural Electrification 50, a list of 50 U.S.-based hard-tech startups electrifying the physical world around us.
These startups range from seed-stage upstarts to growth-stage firms. Companies on this year’s list include Harbinger Motors, which is electrifying medium-duty commercial and specialty vehicles; Lightship, an all-electric towable RV; H3X, maker of electric motors made for aerospace, defense, marine, and heavy industry applications; and BoxPower, which designs, installs and manages microgrids for utilities, EV charging and commercial and industrial applications.
