Kayla Dusing hired by TechNexus Venture Collaborative as Venture Program Manager

TechNexus Venture Collaborative is excited to welcome Kayla Dusing to the role of Venture Program Manager, where she’ll work alongside our Venture Operations and Collaboration teams to support TechNexus portfolio companies.

Dusing’s work is at the intersection of portfolio operations and strategic partnerships. Her duties include supporting startups, collaborating with corporate partners, and strengthening connections across TechNexus’s broader venture ecosystem, which includes more than 150 portfolio companies.

The hire signals TechNexus’s continued commitment to supporting startups well beyond an initial investment. Our corporate joint venture model has allowed TechNexus to connect startups to large corporations, providing meaningful partnerships, pilot programs, and new revenue streams for our portfolio beyond a venture investment.

Dusing, working alongside our Director of Venture Operations Ellie Davis and Sr. Director of Collaboration Maddy Rutter, will supercharge our portfolio support operations and give founders resources and connections they need to grow their businesses.

“I’m thrilled to join TechNexus, where I’m bringing my hands-on startup experience to our venture support team,” Dusing said. “I’m excited to build relationships with our founders, understand their needs, and provide them with tools, resources and support to help grow their business.”

Dusing comes to TechNexus after a career working at startups, where she helped build and grow early ventures as an operations manager. Prior to her experience at tech startups, she worked in public relations and event marketing.

“At TechNexus, investing beyond the check is core to what we do,” Ellie Davis, director of venture operations, said. “Our mission is to maximize value for our portfolio and corporate partners. We do this by building deep, personal relationships with our founders and executive leadership. Kayla will be instrumental in accelerating this important function for TechNexus.”
