How Yourco is transforming workforce communication

Yourco is on a mission to solve one of the biggest challenges in workforce communication: how to seamlessly connect employees who don’t sit at a desk.

Its SMS-based platform is built for industries like manufacturing, construction, transportation and healthcare—sectors where workers are typically on the move and traditional communication tools often fall short. By eliminating the need for apps or data plans and incorporating AI-powered language translation, Yourco makes it easy for companies to keep their teams informed, engaged and aligned.

The demand for a solution like this is massive. Yourco recently surpassed 4.2 million non-desk employee connections and has plans to expand into the United Kingdom in 2025. And with every passing month, the company is breaking its own growth records.

“We’ve been growing consistently, and every single month this past year has been our best month ever,” said Brodie Meyer, CEO of Yourco. “We just closed out January, and it was our best month yet.”

The Right Environment for Scaling Fast

As Yourco rapidly expanded its customer base and product capabilities, its leadership recognized that a strong, in-person work environment would be critical to scaling effectively.

“Slack is great, Zoom is great, but there’s nothing like in-person communication,” Meyer said. “Especially in a small startup, it’s critical to have tight feedback loops between customers, product, sales, marketing and support.”

That’s what led Yourco to TeamWorking by TechNexus, a flexible, tech-focused coworking space in Chicago. What Meyer (pictured) saw in TeamWorking was a flexible workspace designed specifically for high-growth companies.

Yourco initially joined with just a two-person office but quickly expanded, moving three times within the space as its team grew. The ability to scale within the same community, without disruption, has been a game-changer.

“It’s given us the flexibility to grow without worrying about office logistics,” Meyer said. “But more than that, being surrounded by other ambitious companies has sharpened our thinking, helped refine our product and opened doors to new opportunities.”

A Hub for Talent, Growth and Connections

Beyond providing a physical space, TeamWorking has also been instrumental in helping Yourco attract top talent and expand its network.

“We wanted a location that was central and accessible, especially with so much talent in the Chicagoland area,” Meyer said. “Being between Union Station and Ogilvie made it easy for both city-based employees and those commuting from the suburbs.”

The collaborative atmosphere has also led to valuable connections—introductions to new networks, potential hires and unexpected growth opportunities.

“We’ve met folks here who have introduced us to new employees, new partners and new ways to expand our business,” Meyer said. “That kind of organic networking is invaluable at this stage.”

Looking Ahead

With continued momentum and expansion plans in motion, Yourco is set to grow its team significantly in 2025, starting with an anticipated three new hires in Q1 alone.

As it scales, the company remains committed to maintaining the fast-paced, agile culture that has fueled its success so far. And with the flexibility and network provided by TeamWorking, Yourco is well-positioned to keep growing—without slowing down.

“We’re moving fast,” Meyer said. “And this space lets us keep that momentum without skipping a beat.”
