Exactly 7 months ago, a tragic fire occurred on Maui. Today, Hawai'i Governor, Josh Green, joined the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) and the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) announced the deployment of an early wildfire detection system so such a disaster won't happen again.

TechNexus has long invested in technology for early wildfire detection as a supporting partner in the SCITI program with DHS Science & Technology Directorate (DHS S&T). We have actively engaged in identifying and fostering innovative ventures, incubating cutting-edge technology, prioritizing standout solutions, and managing the day-to-day of the program, including the Hawaii deployment.

Our collaboration with N5 Sensors, Inc. has resulted in the deployment of #N5SHIELD, an innovative wildfire detection system, enhancing early warning capabilities and proactively preventing future wildfires.

These sensors are a tool to help communities, especially in fire-prone lands and are instrumental in building a sustainable future in fire-risk areas. In tackling wildfire detection, TechNexus showcases the power of strategic collaboration to create solutions to real-world challenges.
